<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily comprehend a correspondence relationship between a reference image of another diagnostic apparatus and an ultrasonic image displayed on the same screen. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a position sensor 108 for detecting the position and inclination of an ultrasonic probe, a scanning surface coordinate calculation means 109 for calculating the scanning surface coordinates of the ultrasonic image on the basis of the output of the position sensor, and a scanning surface coordinate system storage means 110 for storing the calculated scanning surface coordinates. A reference image generation means 111 reads the scanning surface coordinates of the ultrasonic image from the scanning surface coordinate storage means, reads tomographic image data corresponding to the scanning surface coordinates from volume image data, reconfigures a reference image, reads the ultrasonic image from a cine memory 106 and also displays the reference image corresponding to the read ultrasonic image on a screen 114. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
