<p>Disclosed is a wireless communication device (100) which performs wireless communication. The wireless communication device (100) is provided with: a plurality of antennas (101a, 101b and so on) disposed at positions different from each other; and an antenna selecting section (antenna selecting means) (102), which acquires holding position specifying information for specifying a holding position, i.e., a position where the user is holding the wireless communication device (100), and which selects, from among the antennas (101a, 101b, and so on), an antenna disposed at a position different from the holding position specified by means of the holding position specifying information that has been acquired.
