The sine-type position signal is phase shifted relative to the cosine-type position signal at 90 degree so that the sine-type position signal is relative to common periodic time (T). An angle position of the emitter element is determined based on the sine-type position signal and the cosine-type position signal by arctangent relationship. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for inductive determination of an absolute position of an emitter element.</p>
