<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of controlling the drive at high-speed rotation while retaining the stable rotation by preventing abnormal vibration of a rotary drum caused by the imbalance of the laundry in a dewatering step executed by rotationally driving the rotary drum in which the laundry is loaded. <P>SOLUTION: A vibration detecting unit 6 is attached to a water tub 3 to detect the amount of change of position of the water tub. Vibration value calculating means 9 calculates a vibration value from the amount of change of position. Rotation frequency control means 10 detects the vibration amplitude of the water tub from the vibration value, and determines a target value of a set rotation frequency in the dewatering step based on the result of detection. By controlling the drive in this way, the dewatering step at the high-speed rotation can be achieved while retaining the stable rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
