<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag for transporting a pet having a relatively simple structure, easily producible, obtainable at a low cost, and having high safety and comfortableness for the pet. <P>SOLUTION: The bag for transporting the pet includes a first and a second band plates 1 and 2 of a woven fabric, a first and a second side plates 3 and 4 of the woven fabric, and a shoulder strap 5 of the woven fabric. The band plates 1 and 2 are mutually sewn in each side of a parallelogram surrounding an overlapped part formed by mutually crossing in the X shape to form a main part 7 of the bag. The side plate 3 is sewn to crossing sides 1a and 2a of the main part 7 in sewn sides 3a and 3b, and the side plate 4 is sewn to crossing sides 1b and 2b of the main part 7 in sewn sides 4a and 4b. The crossing sides 1a, 2b, 1b, and 2a of the main part 7 are mutually sewn to thereby form a bag body having a bottom part 6, and sidewalls surrounding the bottom part 6.
