<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester enabling easy maintenance of a sorter-driving transmission to transmit power to a sorter. <P>SOLUTION: A thresher 4 is placed behind a reaper 3, the sorter 5 is placed under the thresher 4, culm reaped by the reaper 3 is threshed by a threshing cylinder 43 of the thresher 4 while transporting the culm by a feed chain 41, and the product threshed by the thresher 4 is sorted by the sorter 5. The combine harvester 1 having the construction further includes the sorter-driving transmission mechanism 100 placed on a lateral side of the sorter 5 and under the feed chain 41, and transmitting power to the sorter 5, and a side cover 15 attached to a supporting frame 16 to support the feed chain 41 and covering at least a part of the sorter-driving transmission mechanism 100 from outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
