PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens for an ultrasound diagnostic device which demonstrates a high electromagnetic shielding property and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The lens 2 for the ultrasound diagnostic device comprises a cap 10 which is formed of a silicone rubber composition and a copper thin film 11 which is closely arranged on the inner surface of the cap 10. The elongation of the copper thin film 11 is 4-12%. By the method for manufacturing the lens 2 for the ultrasound diagnostic device, a molding die comprising a first molding die having a protrusion and a second molding die having a concave in which the protrusion can approach is used.
