PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material for a laminated battery having a shape wherein the electrode material is not wasted, while functions are equivalent to those of conventional batteries, and to provide the laminated battery made of the electrode material. SOLUTION: The electrode material for a laminated battery has a substantially rectangular sheet-shape, an electrode tab formed by extending a part of one side at an outer peripheral side, and a notch having the same shape with the electrode formed on an opposite side to that one side. The electrode tab is formed at an end of one side, and the length of the electrode tab is shorter than one third of the length of that one side. In the laminated battery, the electrode material is used as a cathode and an anode, both the cathode and the anode have one side with the electrode tab formed located at the same side; and the cathode and the anode are alternately laminated via a separator so as to make the locations of the both electrode tabs respectively be at opposite-side ends.
