PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio equipment allowing a transmission time interval of a control signal to be adjusted in accordance with a communication line, and to provide a radio communication system having the plurality of the radio equipment. SOLUTION: A propagation delay time calculating part 330 receives an ACK signal from radio equipment 2 being a transmission destination of the data, acquires a time of receiving the ACK signal, and calculates a propagation delay time. An estimated distance calculating part 332 calculates an estimated distance between its own radio equipment 2 and the radio equipment 2 being the data transmission destination on the basis of the calculated propagation delay time. A line state acquiring part 334 acquires a parameter of a modulation system. A transmission time interval calculating part 336 calculates a transmission time interval of a path control message on the basis of the estimated distance between the radio equipment 2 calculated by the estimated distance calculating part 332 and the parameter of the modulation system acquired by the line state acquiring part 334.
