PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of detecting property due to snow coverage or freezing, without having to add changes to the structure of an existing vehicle detector. SOLUTION: An antifreezing device is arranged at the right and left sides of an ETC lane 9, with respect to the vertical arrangement position of a vehicle detector 2 and is provided with a heater 12 for irradiating the upper face of a support board 912, positioned on the lower front face of a cylinder 211 of the vehicle detector 2 with infrared rays; and a control part 100 for controlling supplying of power to the heater 12, wherein snow or ice on a support board 911 located in the front direction of the cylinder 211 serving as a measurement face is melted, and a medium for measurement can be prevented from being discontinueed, and misdetection is prevented.
