PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card-type electronic key manufactured by a method hardly leaving a burr, even when the key itself is formed in a bendable shape by providing a bent portion in a key body so as to secure a breakage resistance. SOLUTION: This card-type electronic key in a plate outer shape is equipped with a coupling portion which enables key matching via radio communication with a communication object and which couples an electronic component unit 14 and a battery key component unit 16 together while allowing the bending of the key body. The electronic key comprises hinge springs 51 and 52 which are formed separately from the molded electronic component unit 14 and which generate a restoring force against the bending of itself in the coupling portion, and a holding member 56 for fixing the hinge springs 51 and 52 to the electronic component unit 14 by sandwiching them together between the one ends of the hinge springs 51 and 52 and the electronic component unit 14.
