PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet capable of preventing a product from being damaged during its transport by mitigating shocks occurring in the product during a fall or the like caused by the cargo handling when conveying a large product, and a packing device. SOLUTION: There are provided the pallet including a pair of upper plates 2a, 2b, a pair of lower plates 3a, 3b arranged opposite to each upper plate, and a pair of middle plates 1a, 1b for connecting the upper plates to the lower plates and having shock-absorbing members 5a, 5b which are held so as to be brought into contact with the upper plates and the lower plates aligned in the vertical direction and opposite to each other, and the packing device using the pallet.
