An object of the present invention is to provide a portable terminal device capable of selectively performing a charging form with convenience for a user, a charging processing method for the portable terminal device, and a charging system. The portable terminal device includes a key operation unit (6), an IC function unit (8) that performs communication relating to settlement of a plurality of kinds of electronic money with an outside, memories (7, 13) that stores charging information on the settlement of the electronic money, and a control unit (10) that selects, according to conditions, which electronic money among the plurality of kinds of electronic money is used to perform charging processing for charging information obtained from the charging communication when the IC function unit (8) performs the charging communication after a predetermined operation is performed to the key operation unit (6).
