Disclosed is a method for producing a conjugated diene rubber which is used as a starting material for a crosslinked rubber that is used in applications such as tire treads and capable of enhancing the fuel-efficient performance. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a conjugated diene rubber, which comprises: (a) a step wherein a conjugated diene polymer, which has an end reactive with an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal and is obtained by polymerizing a conjugated diene compound and an aromatic vinyl compound, and a first alkoxysilane compound, which has at least one alkoxysilyl group having two or more alkoxy groups and at least one group that can form an onium by the action of an onium-forming agent in each molecule, are caused to react with each other, thereby obtaining a modified conjugated diene polymer which has a group that can form an onium and an alkoxysilyl group; and (b) a step wherein the thus-obtained modified conjugated diene polymer, an onium-forming agent, and a second alkoxysilane compound that has at least one alkoxysilyl group and at least one group that can form an onium by the action of an onium-forming agent in each molecule are mixed together.
