Provided is a game system capable of easily performing matching in the second round or later of a game played in a plurality of rounds. The game system (1) comprises a central server (3) and a plurality of game machines (2) that can be connected to the central server (3) via communication lines and executes a game played in a plurality of rounds. In the game system (1), the central server (3) performs matching on a certain number of the game machines (2) from the plurality of game machines (2) in response to a matching request and assigns the same session ID (15) to each of the game machines (2) on which the matching has been performed in the first round. Using the session ID (15), the matching is performed on each of the game machines to which the same session ID (15) is mutually assigned or on each of the game machines to which the session ID (15) is not mutually assigned.
