Methods of detecting inflammatory disorders using IL- 1 isoforms are provided. Methods of treating an inflammatory disorder with an anti-IL-1 antibody are also provided. Methods of treating an inflammatory disorder with an anti-IL-1 antibody and at least one of an anti-IL-22 antibody, an anti-IL-17 antibody, or an anti-TNFαantibody are also provided.
