<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, by a simple constitution, a developer of a wrong color, caused by erroneous mounting of a developing unit, from being supplied. <P>SOLUTION: When the developing unit 200 is dismounted from a port of a communication address 2, and then the developing unit is remounted on the same position as being dismounted, a control device 70 reads out a serial No. of the developing unit remounted on the position. When the read-out serial No. does not agree with serial No. 200 stored in a storage domain corresponding to the communication address 2 in EEPROM 120, but agrees with a serial No. stored in a storage domain corresponding to another communication address, the control device determines that the developing unit is erroneously mounted on a position which is different from a position where the developing unit is to be originally remounted, and forbids toner supply to a remounted developing device from a toner container 900C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
