<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner and its installation method, surely performing evacuation and ensuring performance in operation. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: a refrigerant charge port arranged in a connection valve to a liquid side connection pipe 33 or a gas side connection pipe 34; a liquid side valve 16 arranged in a pipe 31 between the liquid side connection pipe 33 and an expansion valve 13; a gas side valve 17 arranged in the pipe 31 between the gas side connection pipe 34 and a compressor 11; and a pressure detector 18 arranged in the pipes 31, 32, and 33 from the liquid side valve 16 to an indoor side heat exchanger 21 or the pipes 31, 32, and 34 from the indoor side heat exchanger 21 to the gas side valve 17. When an outdoor unit 10 and an indoor unit 20 are not connected together, the liquid side valve 16 and the gas side valve 17 are closed, and the pipe 31 closed by the liquid side valve 16 and the gas side valve 17 is filled with a refrigerant previously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
