PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centralized communication control system and a method capable of performing polling communication without being affected by interruption communication, and capable of keeping a polling cycle time constant. SOLUTION: There are included one master device 20, a communication bus 40 and a plurality of slave devices 30-1 to 30-X connected with the master device 20 via the communication bus 40. The master device 20 and the plurality of slave devices 30 are capable of performing two-way communication via the communication bus 40. Communication is then performed by performing at least a polling communication from the master device 20 to each slave device 30 and an interruption communication from each slave device 30 to the master device 20 on different channels while multiplexing them on the same line.
