PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image correction device enabling a user to optionally select a correction object, and to provide a portable communication terminal, an image correction method, and a program. SOLUTION: The image correction device includes: a storing part 21 including object information for specifying an object; an object detecting part 22a for detecting an object area from an image on the basis of the object information; and an image correcting part 22d which corrects one to a plurality of object areas selected by contact with a touch screen 17 among the plurality of detected object areas when there are the plurality of object areas detected by the object detecting part 22a.
