PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar image processing apparatus for suppressing shift in the phase component in a calculation result, due to overflow, when there is overflow from an expressible range in a product-sum calculation. SOLUTION: A FFT processing section 1 executes an FFT processing of a radar signal received from a preceding signal processing section so as to generate a radar image. The FFT processing section 1 has butterfly calculating means 4a-4n, and phase conserving/correcting means 5a-5n. When it detects that there is an overflow in a calculation result from the butterfly calculating means 4a, the phase-conserving/correcting means 5a executes a phase conservation/correction. The phase conservation/correction is a correction for converting the calculation result of the butterfly calculation into a value, within a preset expressible range so as to conserve the ratio of the real part to the imaginary part of the calculation result of the butterfly calculation.
