PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic wave device capable of largely improving steepness in a high frequency side cut-off frequency region and increasing attenuation on a high frequency side out of a pass band. SOLUTION: The elastic wave device includes a piezoelectric substrate 11, an elastic wave filter section 15 using a longitudinally-coupled resonator type elastic wave element 14 provided on the surface of the piezoelectric substrate 11, a first elastic wave resonator 16 connected in series to one end of the elastic wave filter section 15, and a second elastic wave resonator 17 connected in series to the first elastic wave resonator 16. A capacitive coupling part 23 is connected between the connection part 22 of the first elastic wave resonator 16 and the second elastic wave resonator 17 and a ground terminal 18.
