Disclosed is a transgenic plant imparted with a useful trait, which is produced by carrying out the regulation of the expression of pseudo-response regulator (PRR) genes by an approach different from the deletion of the PRR genes. Specifically disclosed is a transgenic plant characterized by having, introduced therein, a polynucleotide that encodes a protein comprising a pseudo-receiver domain (which is a common motif among plant pseudo-response regulator (PRR) genes) and a CCT motif, a fusion polynucleotide that is a fusion of the polynucleotide and a polynucleotide encoding a transcription activation domain for at least one transcriptional factor, or a recombinant vector carrying the polynucleotide or the fusion polynucleotide.
