The omnibus (2) has a door sill panel (5) running below a bottom edge (6) of a door leaf (4) and parallel to the bottom edge when a door (3) i.e. folding door, is closed. An illuminating device (7) is integrated in the panel in an entry area (1) for illuminating an entrance environment (8) that is located below the door adjacent to the omnibus. The illuminating device includes LEDs (9) that are arranged in parallel along a longitudinal axis of the panel. A warning light is integrated in the door sill panel for producing a light signal that is visible from outside of the omnibus.
