The poppet valve has a valve seat and a plug consisting of a valve piston (4) and a separate piston foot (2) in the form of a valve disk or a valve plate (32). The outside diameter of the valve piston corresponds to end section turned to its valve and is larger then inner diameter of the valve seat.
