The method involves connecting a locking component e.g. zipper(RTM: slide fastener) component, with a cladding material, and arranging a sealing latch with respect to the material. The latch is connected with the material. A filler slot is attached to a region of the material. Edges of the cladding material are connected, so that a cushion covering is formed. A filling material e.g. polystyrene balls, is filled into a granulate-filled cushion i.e. pillow, and the open locking component through and past the latch. The locking component is closed. An independent claim is also included for a granulate material filled cushion.
