<p>A semiconductor integrated circuit is provided with: a main image storage unit (15) which stores, as a main image, an image captured by an image capturing element (3) in a memory (7); a detection unit (12) which repeatedly detects a gaze region that is a region to be gazed at within the main image stored in the memory (7); a sub image storage unit (16) which stores, as a sub image, the image of the gaze region within the image captured by the image capturing element (3) in the memory (7); an encoder (8) which compresses the main image and the sub image that are stored in the memory (7); and a recording unit (9) which records the main image and the sub image that are compressed by the encoder (8) on a recording medium, the detection unit (12) determining whether or not the same subject is included in the present gaze region for a predetermined period, and detecting again a gaze region when determining that the same subject is included.</p> |
