#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves injecting food-grade liquid into a recess of heated polyethylene terephthalate preform to promote expansion of the preform inside a mold, where the mold defines the shape of a thermoplastic container. Longitudinal displacement of a stretch rod is carried out during given period to ensure longitudinal elongation of the preform. The stretch rod is immobilized at the end of the given period. Volume of liquid greater than a predefined fraction of the predetermined volume is presented in the recess at the end of the given period. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a device for packaging a predetermined volume of food-grade liquid into a thermoplastic container comprising an injecting unit. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for packaging predetermined volume of food-grade liquid e.g. mineral water, into a thermoplastic container i.e. bottle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method can produce the bottle with improved quality while avoiding deformation of a neck of the preform of the bottle. The method optimizes the production steps of the bottle while reducing the loss. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a graphical representation illustrating relation between volume and time during formation of mineral water bottle. #CMT#POLYMERS : #/CMT# The container is made of thermoplastic material e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, polyethylene, polycarbonate, polystyrene, polylactic acid and PVC.
|
