<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technical means capable of improving optical and electrical malfunctions on a boundary part where different colored layers adjoin each other and preventing failure from occurring in a color filter substrate and an electrooptical device. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter substrate 210 comprises a first colored layer 214C arranged on a first region Ls and a second colored layer 214F arranged on a second region Hs, wherein the first colored layer and the second colored layer are arranged adjacently to each other, the surface of the second region is higher than the surface of the first region, a difference surface is disposed between the first region and the second region, and the boundary part between the first colored layer and the second colored layer is arranged nearer to the second region side than to the lowest part of the difference surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
