Method for soldering the conductor bundles of a generator

The method involves attaching a contact unit of conductor bundles (18) at another contact unit (26). The former contact unit is soldered at the latter contact unit using a soldering material and an electric arc that is produced with a non- meltable electrode in an inert gas atmosphere. A soldering foil is applied between the contact units as the soldering material, and the soldering foil is melted using the electric arc. The former contact unit is pressed with the soldering foil that is inserted between the contact units.
