The device has an outlet connection part (22) designed at a soot particle filter (16) for feeding out exhaust gas stream, and a mouth region that is tapered in a direction of the gas stream. The mouth region is projected at an open end of an adjacent exhaust gas pipe (28) such that low pressure is produced relative to environment in a suction region by passing through the gas stream. The suction region is designed between the outlet connection part and the exhaust gas pipe. The outlet connection part is detachably connected to a fastening flange (36) of a filter housing (38) by a spring clip.
