PURPOSE: An optical system for a wide angle camera is provide to make the image of the object, which looks likes a distorted image closed to a real object. CONSTITUTION: In an optical system for a wide angle camera, a first lens of a negative magnifying power having a concave surface close to an object and a convex surface close to an image. A second lens(20) is spaced from the first lens by a certain interval and has a concave surface and an infinite refractive power. An iris diaphragm(50) is arranged in the upper part of the lens and collects the light from the second lens. A third lens is arranged in the upper part of the iris diaphragm and has a positive reflective power while having a concave surface to the object and the image.
