FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of making foam plastic moulded articles involves the following steps: a) pre-foaming the foaming polystyrene into granular foam plastic, b) coating the foam plastic granules with a mixture obtained by mixing a solution of liquid glass, powdered liquid glass and a polymer dispersion, c) loading the coated foam plastic granules into a mould and agglomeration of the granules under pressure in the absence of water vapour. ^ EFFECT: obtaining moulded foam plastic articles with uniform density distribution and good mechanical properties. ^ 7 cl, 7 ex |
