<p>The calendar (1) has a paper web (23) guided along a web running path by nips (15-22), and coated rollers (6, 11) and uncoated rollers (8, 13) with a flexible surface of roller stacks (3, 4) with a wear-resistant layer. Thickness of the layer is created in such a manner that nip breadth of the coated rollers with a flexible surface is differentiated from nip breadth of the coated rollers with hard surface of more than 5 percentage of the nip breadth. The breadth forms the uncoated rollers with a flexible surface of uniform dimension with as the uncoated rollers with the hard surface.</p> |
