PURPOSE: An excavator is provided to descend a hydraulic grab by the feedback control by sensing load applied to a load cell and to prevent the hydraulic grab from rotating due to the twisting of a wire when the hydraulic grab descends. CONSTITUTION: An excavator comprises a body(11), a guide(13), a support structure(15), a hydraulic cylinder(17), a rotating unit(19), a hydraulic grab(23), a winch unit(25) and a hydraulic unit(27). The guide has a shape of an extendable telescope of three steps. The support structure supports the guide. The hydraulic cylinder is mounted on the body to be extendable by oil pressure and makes the support structure lie or stand. The rotating unit connects the guide to the support structure to rotate the guide. The hydraulic grab is detachably connected to the lower part of the guide by a pin and makes contact with the ground surface. The winch unit moves the hydraulic grab up and down comprises a wire(24) and a winch(26).
