IMAGE DENOISING APPARATUS AND METHOD USING Z-MASK

PURPOSE: A video noise removing apparatus and method thereof which uses a jet mask are provided to improve noise elimination speed and to restore similar image by using a jet mask. CONSTITUTION: An ID map generation unit(110) generates an ID map about an image after making structure specific information of pixels. A changing unit(120) changes a noise image into the generated ID map by using a jet mask. A noise removing unit(130) removes noise about noise image by using the changed ID map.
