PURPOSE: A ball joint and a method of manufacturing hollow ball joints are provided to reduce cost by decreasing weight using tube-shaped raw materials. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing a ball joint is as follows. A mold(200) with a cavity(200a) of a bass stud shape is prepared, and a hollow tube(101) is located in the cavity of the mold. First upper and lower insert pins are inserted into the holes of both ends of the hollow tube. The diameters of second upper and lower insert pins are larger than those of the first upper and lower insert pins and are inserted into the holes of both ends of the hollow tube.
