<p>An object of the present invention is to provide a honeycomb structured body that can be efficiently manufactured, and the honeycomb structured body of the present invention comprises a honeycomb block including a pillar-shaped honeycomb fired body having a plurality of cells placed longitudinally in parallel with one another with a cell wall interposed therebetween and each having an end portion sealed with a plug portion formed by a plug material paste at either one end, wherein the plug portions include fired first plug portions on one end face side of the honeycomb fired body and unfired second plug portions on an other end face side of the honeycomb fired body.</p> |
