PURPOSE: A home energy managing apparatus and method thereof are provided to automatically reduce or block the power consumption of power devices by logically connecting a power device to a service portal server. CONSTITUTION: A message queue module(120) temporarily stores class type information. An emulation information receiving module(110) converts energy information in an XML form and stores the converted information in a message queue module. An emulation information transmission module(115) converts event information in an XML form. A service provider interface module(135) communicates with a service portal server. An energy information processing module(145) converts the extracted energy information in an XML form.
