CERTIFICATION SERVICE SYSTEM USING MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: An authentication service system and method thereof which uses a mobile communications terminal are provided to perform authentication about a user by using a mobile communication terminal when performing electronic commerce. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(180) mounts a USIM(Universal Subscriber Identity Module) card or a SIM card mount. A client terminal(110) selects the mobile communication terminal as an authentication unit. An access control server(170) checks whether the selected mobile communication terminal subscribes to a mobile card. The access control server transmits a text message to the mobile communication terminal. The text message includes a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) page and a call back URL(Uniform Resource Location).
