HINGE DEVICE FOR A REFRIGERATOR DOOR

PURPOSE: A hinge unit for a refrigerator door is provided to enhance use convenience by automatically closing the refrigerator door at a given angle. CONSTITUTION: A hinge unit for a refrigerator door comprises a door bracket and a hinge assembly. The hinge assembly is composed of a hinge bracket(30), a housing(35), a slide cam, and a fixed cam. The hinge bracket is installed on the bottom of the refrigerator door(15) and passes through a shaft, which has been on the door bracket. The housing is coupled to the upper part of the hinge bracket and is inserted into the inside of the refrigerator door. The slide cam vertically reciprocates in the housing by a spring and comprises a sliding unit. The fixed cam comprises a guide unit, is engaged with the sliding unit of the slide cam and rotates in a state of being connected to the shaft.
