PURPOSE: A method for providing content download service is provided to enable a terminal to receive a download request of a specific content based on the terminal information. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(710) is connected to a server in order to perform a communication. A controller(720) transmits the terminal information to the server. If a download request is received for a specific content is received from an external other server, the controller controls the communication unit for downloading the specific content. The controller transmits the terminal information to the server periodically.
