PURPOSE: A power supply network system and a control method thereof are provided to minimize power consumption and electricity bill by selectively storing commercial electricity or using stored electricity according to the price of commercial electricity. CONSTITUTION: A measuring device(20) measures the provided electricity and electricity bill on a house in real time. An energy management device(30) controls the operation of electrical appliances(101-104) based on the power information of the electrical appliances and external power supply information. The energy management device comprises a controller(35), an input unit(38), a communication unit(34), and a display unit(39). A storage battery implements data communication with the energy management device to store electricity according to the command of the energy management device.
