<p>A moisture separation system for a gas turbine power system that includes a filter housing assembly, the moisture separation system comprising a weather hood 212 configured to be coupled to the housing, and a moisture separator 312 extending at least partially across the weather hood inlet 308, wherein the separator 312 is rotatable in response to the airflow into the housing to facilitate removing moisture from the airflow. The separator 312 may comprise first and second ends, and a body extending between those ends along a longitudinal axis, wherein the separator is configured to coupled to the housing at both ends such that the longitudinal axis is substantially perpendicular to the airflow; additionally each separator may be formed with a hub and a plurality of arcuately shaped vanes extending from the hub, and several separators may be arranged side-by-side such that inlet 308 is substantially covered in dimension FD.</p> |
