<p>PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to firmly combine a second electrode layer with a transparent electrode layer by restricting a restricting layer with a first transparent electrode layer and a second transparent electrode layer. CONSTITUTION: A second conductive semiconductor layer is formed on an active layer. A transparent electrode layer(50) is formed on the second conductive semiconductor layer. A first electrode layer is formed on a first conductive semiconductor layer. A second electrode layer(60) is arranged on the transparent electrode layer. The transparent electrode layer includes a first transparent electrode layer(51) and a second transparent electrode layer(52).
