The method involves forming a decision making device (7) with an input (3) and an output (5), and representing a digital converted pulse of an analog pulse signal by a signal value in an input side. An output signal value (P1) is output to an output side when a digital signal value (S) in the input is greater than a predetermined threshold value (H th). Another output signal value (P0) is output in the output side when the digital signal value in the input is smaller than another predetermined threshold value (L th). The threshold values are adjusted based on value sets (M Smax, M Smin). An independent claim is also included for a device for operating a pulse detection device, comprising a decision making device. |
