<p>A method and apparatus for treatment of neurodegenerative diseases including depression, mild cognitive impairment and dementia. An electrical signal comprising a stimulation frequency is generated and applied transcutaneously to a patient over at least one treatment cycle comprising a plurality of intervals, wherein each interval comprises increasing the stimulation frequency to a high frequency and decreasing the stimulation frequency to a low frequency.</p> |
