PURPOSE: A tank level gauge is provided to be installed in a high-temperature, high-pressure tank by applying the temperature and pressure in a tank to the inside of a metallic pipe and by operating the metallic pipe with the tension of a metallic floating unit. CONSTITUTION: A tank level gauge comprises a body(21), a gear-shaft support, a metallic pipe, a connecting link(11), and a connecting string(42). The body comprises an indicating unit, a metallic pipe, a sectorial-gear support, and a gear shaft. The indicating unit indicates the change of the water level on the upper end of a tank. The metallic pipe has a hollow bent shape. The sectorial-gear support connects a sectorial gear to a rotating shaft. The gear shaft engages the sectorial gear with different teeth. The gear shaft couples the indicating unit to the outside of the body and supports the gear shaft. The connecting link connects the operating ends of the sectorial gear.
