<p>The machine (10) has a circulating conveyor belt (14) for conveying containers e.g. bottle, grouped as packs. A supplying unit supplies flat paperboard sheets (16) at bottom side of the containers that are transported in standing manner on the sheets. A pair of opposing lateral guide elements (18) folds upward lateral edges of the sheets extending laterally beyond a footprint of the containers. Adhesive i.e. hot glue, is provided with edge portions of lateral edges overlapping with front and back edges of the sheets. A flat spring elements (24) are made of spring-elastic metal. An independent claim is also included for a method for packaging packs of containers.</p> |
