<p>The system has an actuator (2) releasing safety-related access region, and sensors (3, 4) detecting openings of the region or an access in the region. A code generator generates codes (12, 13) with bit positions for a communication output signal of a bus system that is connected to the system. The bit positions capture predetermined values by a detection of the openings or access by the sensors. Third bit position of the codes captures third predetermined value, so that an evaluating unit determines an instant condition of the actuator and the sensors, and is connected with bus system. An independent claim is also included for a method for safety-related communication in an automation system.</p> |
